Tim Done
Tim is an all-round sportsman who enjoys participating in a wide range of sports. As a junior he represented Durham County at badminton and Darlington at cross country.
Living on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, he is ideally placed for fell running and has competed in the sport for over 15 years. During that time he was heavily involved in the British Open Fell Runners Association as Chairman and in other roles. He is a member of Wharfedale Harriers and currently organises Bradley Fell Race; which is held in September each year.
In recent years he has taken up field hockey and plays for Wakefield Hockey Club, where he was a member of the over 50’s National Plate winning team in 2019. In his role as Sports Massage Therapist, Tim has also provided pitch side support for the Men’s 1st team in the National Hockey League.
Needless to say, Tim has suffered from many injuries over the years and the treatments received are what stimulated his passion for his role. After retiring from the police he followed this passion and has been working as a Sports Massage Therapist for over 7 years.
Tim’s client base is wide ranging both in terms of age and sporting ability. His approach to identifying and resolving injuries and the cause of injuries, through biomechanical assessment and appropriate treatment has proven hugely successful.
Tim specialises in sports and remedial massage therapy, biomechanics, postural alignment issues and pain management. He applies kinesiology taping techniques and can advise on appropriate measures to prevent injury.
Whether your goal is to compete for your country, or simply manage your daily activities without pain, then Tim has the experience to help you reach your full potential.
Outside of work, Tim maintains an active lifestyle, playing hockey, running and walking. He is a keen woodworker and is currently in the process of making a number of electric guitars.
